The worthy and compelling struggles of our time. Join Taye Mohler in this docuseries as she searches for connection and meaning behind real stories from real people wrestling through opposing, sometimes polarizing positions and personal experiences that have shaped their beliefs and convictions. How can we lay down our swords and find bridges in the divide?

Anatomy of Change is a podcast series about struggle and connection in making courageous change in the systems and structures that thread our lives.

Where do we begin.

Our country is struggling to find connection and understanding. The ideal for living equally, fully and authentically is not yet a reality for so many. Issues of race and gender, civil rights and human rights, health, climate, globalization and trade are deeply personal with implications influencing generations. We exchange intellectual curiosity and connection with the cheaper currency of dehumanization, groupism, isolation or silence. How do ‘We the People’ reconcile where we are and find our human incentive to bridge to one another again?

So I’m not one for skirting around hard things. If we are going to be authentic about struggle and connection, one of the longest bridges to cross together is the distance between Pro Choice and Right to Life. This chapter, “The Choice”, compels us to listen HARD.

The stories are intimate and gives space to imagine someone else’s shoes and circumstances. We will wrestle with our faith, beliefs, the what if’s and could’ve beens.

How might we move forward with less shaming and more compassion?

Settle in. We begin with Ann’s story.
